Cologne/Perfume Collection

Polo Black
Top Notes: Iced Mango, Spanish Sage, Green Effervescent Accord
Middle Notes: Silver Armoise, Lush Liquid Accord, Hedione
Base Notes: Patchouli Noir, Sandalwood, Timberol, Tonka Bean

Definitely my top choice for a cologne. Typically, I prefer feminine scents over masculine scent, but I love how this cologne smells. It's not as initially spicy as many colognes. Although I have no idea what those note scents are supposed to smell like, the cologne has a combination of a fruity scent with hints of spice. Overall, it just smells really nice and masculine, but not too much. I've had many people comment on how good it smells and I absolutely recommend it.

Lacoste Essential
Top Notes: Tangerine, Bergamot, Tomato Leaves, Cassis
Middle Notes: Black Pepper, Rose
Base Notes: Patchouli, Sandalwood, Woody Notes

This was my first cologne ever and I've gone through many bottles. This cologne is much more citrus-y because of the tangerine and that scent is noticeable when you wear it. It's definitely not as spicy as most cologne or Polo Black. I would wear this going to class or work, but it wouldn't be much of a going out at night scent. As you can see, the base notes between the two are similar, but they have different initial scents.

Bath and Body Work's Carried Away
Notes: Lush Raspberries, White Jasmine and Whipped Vanilla

This is a body spray, but I thought I should include it anyways. Obviously, this is a feminine scent, but I don't really care about the sex of fragrances because I like what I like. It smells very fruity because of the raspberries and also sweet because of the vanilla. Honestly, this fragrance smells delicious and reminds me of some kind of dessert.  It's a very cute and girly fragrance and I think it's very nice for spring and summer. It might be a little too strong to wear all the time, but, it's good every now and then.

Anthropologie's Darjeeling
Notes: Cardamom, Mint, Fresh Jasmine and Cedarwood

I got this fragrance stick from Anthropologie because I thought it was a nice scent. This is based on an Indian tea. I can't tell you if it smells like the tea, but the fragrance reminds me of lemons. After smelling it, I can smell hints of mint and caramom. Overall, it's a fresh and feminine scent that's great for school or work. Sticks and rollerballs are nice if you don't want a whole bottle of a fragrance.

Versace Versus
Top Notes: Kumquat, Star apple, Lemon, Orange blossom
Middle Notes: Rose, Stephanotis, Musk
Base Notes: Patchouli, Ambrette seeds

This is a rollerball that I picked up from TJ Maxx since it was on sale. It's a feminine smell, but it also smells like it would be tough. The citrus is noticeable, but there's also a combination with the musk to make the scent not too girly. It's a romantic scent and I would only wear it when I'm going out, but it's also not too innocent. I can now also say I have something from Versace!
