5-a-days! - Shoes! + Pink & Beyonce

I'M NOT DEAD, JUST FLOATING.

Dolcetta Buckle Bootie
Urban Outfitters
$68

Peep-toe bootie! It's very cute and chic. The taupe color goes really well with this bootie. I also love the bucles and straps. It makes it look unique, yet fashionable.

Deena & Ozzy Canvas Wrap Sandal
Urban Outfitters
$48

This is a cute sandal that has a slouchy woven canvas upper half part (does that part even have a name...?) The rest is a thong-strap. I love the way it looks. It comes in a ivory/brown and thyme/black, but I like the ivory/brown because it contrasts nicely.

Glitter Ankle Boot
Forever 21
$13.99

Ahh! I love this just because it's glittery. Lord knows I love glitter and also because it's rainbowy and I love colors too. It has a pyramid heel and a ankle zipper. It's very girly, flirty, and party girl. Totally cute.

Priscilla Sandal by Boutique
TopShop
$250

These sandals are so fashion-forward and amazing. I really love the fan detail at the top. It's something I've never seen before. The platform is very interesting, but it makes it more unique. The color is also interesting, but I think they work well together.

Gold Strappy Open Toe Sandal Bootie
AMI Clubwear
$29.99

1. I love heels. 2. I love hooker heels that are a thousand inches high.
Combine them and get this. It's a gold sandal bootie with an open toe, and lots of open strappy things. It's very cute and party girl. I mean, the website DOES have clubwear in it.

I know I haven't posted in forever, but school and life is KILLING me. I'm going to try to get back into the groove of posting. Bear with me guys! :)

February~~

Love is in the air~

Not really. This is my February update! If you've been wondering where I've been, I've had district honor band for three days. It was pretty amazing because I got to spend time with people from my school I don't usually hang out with and I realize they were pretty cool people. I also met tons and tons of new people, while hanging out with people I've met there before. It was an amazing time. I'm sad that I had to leave, but there's no place like home.

This is just some of the amazing new people I met, excluding my best guy bffl on the right.

I also discovered some things about myself while there. I realize that I fall too easily for people and that it never ends well. I also found out someone I thought was cool ended up being a complete douche. Well, he has his cool moments, but some of the things he does is stupid. I also met this really amazing chill girl there. I think I have a little bit of a crush on her, but it's stupid and I'm pretty sure she likes someone else. It would never work anyways since she lives three hours away, or it would be hard to maintain a relationship. It's weird because I don't usually fall for girls like that... or girls in general. It's complicated. I'm complicated.

Moving on, I like 2010. Let's review my goals for January and see what I've accomplished! :)

1. Focus on school!
I've actually done better in school! I think I only have one or two B because I know I have a 90 in math. This makes me happy and I've been doing better on tests. Hopefully, I'll continue doing better and with that 1.06 weighted credit or whatever, I'm gonna beast on my grades.

2. Make all-state!
I didn't make all-state, but that's ok. I realized once I got to auditions that these people were hardcore serious about music and that was something I wasn't. I only know one person that made and he is like a beast. I'm just glad I was considered good enough to make it to that round.

3. Get a job?
Fail! But that's ok. I'm totally not in a rush.

4. Get my license!
Win! I got my license the second time I took the test.

5. Get fit!
Ok, I tried exercising for like two days and then I realized I didn't know where to fit it in during the school week because I have school and then I usually do something after school and then I go home and sleep. :| Hm, I wish I had a time to fit it in.

Overall, January 2010 was a success. Now for the goals for this month!

1. Have the best Valentine's Day ever.
Just because I'm single doesn't mean Valetine's Day has to be a complete pooper on me. :) I'm my own valentines and I'm gonna have a blast.

2. Beast at the Model UN thing.
I'm gonna do my research, prepare myself and then blow everyone away at the Model UN simulation. Who says Johnny can't be internationally educated? I'm glad I'm trying new things out.

3. Do lots of community service!
I need 150 hours for my IB diploma. I love doing community service and I should really start now. So far, I've been helping kids at elementary school, but I'm gonna start doing lots of other things. I can't wait! I've also been doing lots for Key Club, so that's a good thing.

4. FINALLY be able to drive to school.
My parents STILL haven't gotten my insurance. Ughhhh, hopefully, they'll do it in the next few days because I am so ready to drive to school. :/

5. Learn more about fashion!
Fashion is the topic of my extended essay for IB, so I should start doing my research and learn more things about it. It's also gonna help my blog! :)

Btw Jesus, I want a sleeveless hoody. Pls send one my way. Kthx.

I love you guys and I love having a blog that I actually update!

5-a-days! - ModCloth Dresses!

ModCloth Dresses~

Windy City Dress
ModCloth
$64.99

This navy-blue party dress is so gorgeous. It's made from silk chiffon with a sleeveless a-line design. I like the pleated waistline and how the skirt drapes and flows down. I like how the neck goes up and how the bust is made. It's a really cute, versatile look.

Golden Age of Hollywood Dress
ModCloth
$129.99

I love this hollywood-inspired dress! This dress is a blend of gold, dusty rose, and violet. I love the way the bodice is cut and how the skirt is very flowy and full. I think the dress looks better without the bolero because it really shows off the bodice, but the bolero is definitely nice if you want to go for that full vintage hollywood look.

The Eclair Dress
ModCloth
$114.99

This dress is my favorite out of the five! First, the brown and white caught my attention. Second, I love the little tiers at the bottom of the dress. Third, the detachable belt with the flower embellishments are Lastly, I also like the pleating details in the silk top. This look can also be very versatile.

Betsey Johnson Sky Bloom Dress
ModCloth
$300

I chose this dress because of all the bright colors! I love the little scenery of flowers and spring on it. This dress has a sweetheart neckline and cute little buttons on the bust. This dress is really simple, but it's the colors and print that makes it so cute.

Art Gallery Dress
ModCloth
$129.99

This dress is very visual and chic. My favorite thing is the skirt with all the different artistic colorful blocks. The neck is also really cute and different with a squared design. There's also hidden hip pockets and a deep pleated waist. Something that can be classy, yet bold.

I'm about to do another one! :)

5-a-days! - Forever 21 Collection: Resort!

Forever 21 Collection: Resort

This collection is all about turquoise, fuschia, black, and various bright contrasting colors. There's lots of dresses, cardigans and the other clothes that are soft and free-flowing, having a very spring/summery feel. Dramatic shoulders, ornate necklines, and unique bows are all prominent throughout the pieces.

Retro Twist Cardigan
Forever 21
$24.80

The first thing that caught my attention about this was the colors, and that made me want to include this in my 5. The turquoise blue is one of the main colors of this Resort collection. This cardigan has the polished buttons and the turquoise trim, which gives it crazy awesome contrasting against the yellow. This cardigan is very cute and retro.

Ribbon Tie Cardigan
Forever 21
$19.80

The bows totally made this cardigan for me. This is the first time I've seen self tie bows used like this, and I really like how it looks. This comes in turquoise/black and fuschia/black, which are all theme colors. On the shoulders of this short-sleeved cardigan is a little simple ruffle design.

Color Trim Sweater Cardigan
Forever 21
$19.80

Once again, color grabbed my attention and colors are everythign to me. This is a sleeveless knit cardigan that is trimmed with three contrasting colors: turquoise, fuschia and yellow. There's a V-neckline, six buttons, two front pockets and a ribbed hemline. This would be a very cute layered piece.

Exude Your Shoulder Dress
Forever 21
$24.80

This dress is all about shoulders! This is a jersey knit print, and on the shoulders are turquoise jeweled and beaded epaulets. The dress has a loose turtleneck, short sleeves and a well fit bodice. I loveeee the shoulders on this dress and the jewels show them off perfectly.

Escapade Leopard Silk Dress
Forever 21
$29.80

The neckline on this is amazing. This is a silf woven dress with a leopard print design that comes in fuschia/black or turquoise/black. The back is self-tie and the bodice is very flowing. The scoop necklie has an amazing intricate stone, beads and sequin designs that I really love.

I totally just realized that I did three cardigans and two dresses, but that's what most of the collection consists of. I really love the colors and the designs of them all. I hope you enjoyed what I chose! :) And yay for another comment yesterday from someone new! That pleases me.
